The Beech Group strives to meet the highest professional and ethical standards by working to the Ethical framework for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy as set out by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Highest Standards
In order to ensure that we deliver our programmes to the highest possible standards we constantly monitor both the service and those who deliver it using a variety of measurement tools:
- A well validated and reliable programme called Clinical Outcomes and Routine Evaluation (CORE) System. This was developed by the Psychological Therapies Research Centre at Leeds University and is the leading outcomes measure in the counselling/psychotherapy field in the UK. Each client is assessed both before and after counselling. We are therefore able to gain an objective measure of the success of our counselling programmes.
- Client satisfaction with the service they have received is measured by confidential feedback forms which service users are given at the last appointment.
- Counsellor feedback is sought and any non-attendance or premature client terminations of the sessions are investigated within the bounds of confidentiality
