Our Counsellors and Consultants
At The Beech Group we pride ourselves on providing you with qualified, experienced and professional counsellors and consultants so you can feel assured you are in good hands.
 Our counsellors and consultants The Managing Director of The Beech Group is Madeleine Richardson, Acc. BACP, Acc. BASRT, Acc. FMA, UKCP Reg. who manages the eight qualified counsellors who are based at the practice, and a number of counsellors, coaches and consultants with whom we work throughout the region.
The following are the minimum criteria for our counsellors/coaches and consultants Training to at least diploma level or equivalent, at an appropriately accredited organisation, in one of the mainstream disciplines, with up-to-date membership of the relevant professional organisation - Counsellors are accredited by, or will be working towards accreditation by, one or more of the following associations - British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (1), the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (2), the British Psychological Society (3) or equivalent
- Training and experience in working within a short-term, solution-focused model, particularly Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Evidence of ongoing supervision with a qualified, experienced and approved external supervisor or consultant adhering to the requirements of the practitioner’s professional body
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to a level of at least £2m
